RelChron began life in 2002 when we were invited, by a major manufacturing organisation in Fife, Scotland, to develop a Software System to assist with the Pressure Testing process in the subsea-oil manufacturing industry.During the development stages of this product, we were exposed to many different disciplines of Technology and Engineering.
Using this knowledge, we formed our first website www.proto-pic.co.uk , a site designed for electronics and prototyping hobbyists and enthusiasts. This site has grown and is now a useful knowledge base and online shop for anyone who has an interest in Microcontroller Programming & Develoment or for anyone who has a love of electronics.
We soon realised that the same people who desired to learn and design Electronic circuits & PIC projects , would need the correct Tools to build them, at low prices.
We approached a variety of manafacturers and were lucky enough to be invited to be official distributors for some of the Top tool brands in the UK.
We have been trading tools online since around 2008 through various internet channels, to allow us to learn the skills required to run our own online tool store.
